As an author, I'm often asked where I get my inspiration for characters and settings. I love the weather that the Midwest provides, so sharing my stories in all seasons makes me feel at home.
My current work in progress, Embracing Trust, is set in the fictional town of Castle, Texas, Castle is a small oceanside town that provides a quaint shopping district with brick streets and small specialty shops. It's exactly the place readers will love to go.
Although the Midwest doesn't provide any nearby oceans, I have always been a lover of beaches and the beauty of the tide rolling into the shore. It's a perfect setting for a love story like Ryan and Julia's.
The characters spend time at the little coffee shop in Castle as they share their dreams over a cup of java.
